The hotel is located in a wonderful position between the Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The former can be reached within 35 minutes, either on foot, by shuttle-bus – or, for that extra romantic touch, by horse-drawn carriage. The latter can be reached within 10 minutes from the hotel via a short footpath.

Run by the same family for several generations, the Müller Hotel is a very traditional property, built in the style of a Bavarian hunting lodge. The 45 guestrooms, spread over 3 floors, are individually and tastefully appointed, with plain white walls complemented by dark wood furnishings. All are clean and well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. The hotel’s restaurants invite you to relax and enjoy many delicacies accompanied by excellent wines. They include “Acht-Eck”, an octagonal-room with a view of Castle Neuschwanstein, and “Stube am Ofen”, a cosy venue with warm tiled-stove and special atmosphere, as well as the summer terrace and winter garden.
