Owned by the same family for four generations, the Hirsch Hotel occupies a typically Bavarian, art deco townhouse with a pale pink façade. Though the lobby is fairly small with the reception desk off to the side, it leads onto a larger area around a broad staircase. The 54 guestrooms are spacious, however, and are predominantly decorated in white and pale green colour schemes, complemented by dark wood furnishings and Bavarian antiques. All are clean and well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. Containing 250 seats, the hotel’s restaurant projects the same traditional Bavarian atmosphere as the rest of the property and serves both regional specialities and modern, light food. There’s also a cosy Bierstüberl (beer lounge), situated just off the main hallway.
